Taylor Enters Plea

Phillip Taylor, the Bryan man, accused of shooting four dogs at his now-estranged wife’s home following a dispute, now awaits sentencing after pleading no contest to one felony count of animal cruelty and more in a Williams County courtroom. Taylor faces a maximum of four years in prison, as well as more than $15,000 in fines A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered, and a sentencing hearing is set for Oct. 30. Theresa Taylor, his ex, owns a pet grooming and boarding business in Archbold and is awaiting her own trial in Fulton County for animal cruelty in an unrelated matter.
