Less Brought In…Less Spent Too

Amid COVID-19, Bryan Municipal Utilities is collecting less revenue than expected, but expenditures are also down. BMU Operations Manager, Dawn Fitzcharles says the annual budget called for a monthly average of $1.7 million dollars in collected revenue from electric sales. Through the end of June, the average is closer to $1.5 million. At the same time…the budget also called for average expenses of $1.8 million dollars monthly, and BMU is spending about $1.3 million.
