A hearing for a Toledo man, accused in the stabbing death of a Montpelier woman, has been rescheduled for the fourth time. Thomas Smith, 24, was scheduled for a pretrial conference in Lucas County. The judge has now put the hearing on the docket, set for Nov. 24th. In March, Smith pled not guilty to murder and more. Prosecutors say Smith stabbed Danialle Swan at a gas station in Toledo. Smith fled the scene on foot initially, but was tackled and held by multiple bystanders who witnessed the attack.
