The Williams County Board of Elections completes the recount of the North Central Local School levy issue on the May 4 special election ballot…confirming the final results…310 votes against…308 for. The proposed five-year, 3.8-mill levy would have raised $420,000 annually to prevent the district from operating at a deficit, school officials have said. It was the district’s third failed attempt at passing the levy in less than a year and a half.
