A Pair Of Drunk Driving Cases

Troopers from the Defiance Post respond to two accidents…involving drunken drivers in Williams County. This was on Thanksgiving Day. Jose Martinez, of Edinburg, Texas, was southbound on Ohio 15…when he goes off the right side of the road, south of County Road F. His vehicle crossed over the ditch, hitting a utility pole. He and a passenger are hurt. Martinez is charged with DUI. A little later…Mandy Manhesmith, of Angola is eastbound on U.S. 20A. She gets into a two car crash. She fails the sobriety test and now faces DUI charges and more in the case. The investigation continues.
