Fatal Crash On Icy Auburn Area Road

Indi­ana State Police say a three-vehicle crash Tues­day morn­ing near Auburn on the icy and snow cov­ered County Road 50, claimed the life of a Kendal­lville man.

Police say a dump truck, dri­ven by 57-year-old Steven Westrick of Auburn, col­lided with a south­bound semi, dri­ven by 38-year-old Daniel Lee Crow­ell that was haul­ing a load of metal.

Accord­ing to police, the semi jack­knifed and hit a north­bound pickup truck dri­ven by 20 year old Ken­neth Lind­ley II, who was killed.

Nei­ther Westrick nor Crow­ell were injured in the crash.
