An Edgerton man who pleaded guilty to multiple charges was sentenced last week in Williams County Common Pleas Court. Craig Mosler Jr. pleaded guilty last month to four counts of receiving stolen property, all fourth-degree felonies; tampering with records, a third-degree felony; grand theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; tampering with records, a fourth-degree felony; grand theft, a fourth-degree felony; theft, a fifth-degree felony; failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a fourth-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and theft, a fifth-degree felony. These charges stemmed from his activities over the course of a few months, including stealing vehicles, weapons and money from multiple victims; tampering with vehicle titles; fleeing from police and drug possession.

In total, Craig Mosler Jr. was ordered to serve: 18 years to 21.5 years in the Ohio Department of Corrections, which be run consecutive to the 47 months Mr. Mosler received from his Defiance County Case.

The sentences imposed reflect the seriousness of Mosler’s conduct and the significant risks his actions posed to law enforcement officers and the public.
