Ex-Hicksville Officer Awaits Sentence on Domestic Violence

A for­mer police offi­cer in Hicksville is await­ing sen­tenc­ing on var­i­ous charges after plead­ing guilty of domes­tic vio­lence and using the Ohio Law Enforce­ment Gate­way police data­base with­out autho­riza­tion. Charges of men­ac­ing by stalk­ing and pos­sess­ing crim­i­nal tools were dis­missed. Nathan Metz was arrested after being accused of threat­en­ing phys­i­cal harm to his estranged wife while pos­sess­ing a firearm. Sen­tenc­ing will be next month.
