The Henry County Engineer’s Office has announced plans are underway to replace four bridges and resurface about 11 miles of roads at a cost of about $2.3 Million.
On top of that, the county this year will chip and seal about 36 miles of roadway. On the list this year, replacement of the Florida canal bridge on Henry County Road 17C. Construction is estimated to get underway sometime in June, and the bridge will be closed for 30 to 45 days for the $500,000 project.
Other bridges on the list of replacements are on Henry County roads V, L and P3.
Those projects will cost about $488,000.
