Henry Bridge Work Scheduled

The Henry County Engineer’s Office has announced plans are under­way to replace four bridges and resur­face about 11 miles of roads at a cost of about $2.3 Mil­lion.

On top of that, the county this year will chip and seal about 36 miles of road­way. On the list this year, replace­ment of the Florida canal bridge on Henry County Road 17C. Con­struc­tion is esti­mated to get under­way some­time in June, and the bridge will be closed for 30 to 45 days for the $500,000 project.

Other bridges on the list of replace­ments are on Henry County roads V, L and P3.

Those projects will cost about $488,000.
