It now looks like Bryan Municipal Utilities cable customers will soon be paying higher monthly bills.
The Bryan Board of Public Affairs talked rate increases at Tuesday’s regular meeting.
The Bryan Times reports that the board took no action on the issue, but they did agree that the increases are necessary.
The proposed changes would increase the basic cable package from $18.75 to $21.65 per month; the extended basic package from $56.90 to $60.25; and the digital basic from $10.55 to $11.
Board members also discussed updating the cable department’s rules and regulations.
No action was taken on the issue Tuesday and a vote is expected at the board’s March 3 meeting.
