Titan Tire to drop down to one shift, job losses expected

Some cuts are coming to Titan Tire in Bryan. The company told workers they’ll cut operations from three shifts to one. That is expected to eliminate half of the current workforce of 180 employees.

Workers are waiting to hear on Friday the number of people who’ll be laid off, and the timing of them.

This isn’t the first time the workforce has been trimmed this year. In July, the company laid off two dozen low-tenure employees.
