Bryan Municipal Utilities is all for the Parks and Recreation Department’s street tree replacement efforts.

BMU Director Brian Carlin told the Bryan Times, that for a number of years the utilities office has funded the replacement of any trees which have been cut down due to power line concerns. Workers replace the trees with new ones that will not be a problem.

On Wednesday, the Bryan Board of Public Affairs approved a Parks and Recreation Department request for $2,000 to replace the trees.
