Bryan Municipal Utilities gets six awards at the American Municipal Power annual conference in Columbus. Jimmy Dunning, BMU operations manager, informed the Bryan Board of Public Affairs of the achievement during Tuesday’s meeting. BMU assisted Pioneer, Wapakoneta, Hillsdale, Michigan and Springfield, Illinois with storm damage this year and received an award for each. The agency also received awards for transmission and distribution safety and generational safety. BPA Chairman, Dick Long congratulated BMU on the awards.
