Cecil man indicted in ATV death

A Cecil man has been indicted by a Defi­ance County grand jury in the death of a Per­rys­burg man in an ATV crash. The vic­tim, 38-year-old Thomas Pis­ar­cik, died after being ejected off an ATV dri­ven by Larry Atch­ley. The 62-year-old Cecil man has allegedly under the influ­ence at the time of the crash. He’s charged with two counts of aggra­vated vehic­u­lar homi­cide, invol­un­tary manslaugh­ter, fail­ure to stop, tam­per­ing with evi­dence, OVI, and fal­si­fi­ca­tion. The crash hap­pened last August on Defiance-Paulding County Line Road near Cecil. Atch­ley is sched­uled for arraign­ment on Feb. 4 in Defi­ance County Com­mon Pleas Court.
