DeWine selects Husted for Ohio Sentate seat.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed Lt. Gov. Jon Husted to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Vice President-elect J.D. Vance. Husted is set to become the first U.S. senator from northwest Ohio. He grew up in Montpelier in Williams County.
