HEALTH SCREENINGS SCHEDULED

The ProMed­ica Defi­ance Regional Hos­pi­tal will offer free skin can­cer screen­ings on Fri­day, Sept. 20, by appoint­ment only.

Screen­ings take approx­i­mately 10–15 min­utes, and include a skin exam, edu­ca­tion, and follow-up sup­port.

Appoint­ments are lim­ited. To sched­ule an appoint­ment, call 419–783-6911.

The Defi­ance County Health Depart­ment will hold its “Know Your Health Num­bers” health screen on Thurs­day from 9–11:30 a.m. at the Hicksville Senior Cen­ter in Hicksville. Included in the health screen are blood pres­sure, pulse, res­pi­ra­tions, cho­les­terol, hemo­glo­bin and blood sugar.
