Jobless numbers low in region

The num­bers of job­less work­ers in the area last month showed Henry County had the high­est unem­ploy­ment rate at 5.5 per­cent. The Henry County Com­mis­sioner Glenn Miller said that rate stems from the lay­offs at Campbell’s Soup. The low­est job­less rate is for Put­nam County, now at 3.8 percent.
Here in Williams County, the unem­ploy­ment rate was 4.1 per­cent in December.
