Voters in the Millcreek West Unity school district may be asked to approve making a current levy up for renewal in November into a continuing one. Superintendent Jim Wyse presented the levy proposal to the school board. He added the levy was first approved as an emergency levy in March 2004 to provide needed operating funds and has been renewed every five years until 2019 when the millage collected was reduced from 3.8 to 3.3 mills and renewed as a substitute levy.
