Low-income area residents will soon have a new health/dental medical center opening soon in Bryan.
Services at the health center will feature a low-income dental clinic, primary care medical services, a pharmacy and opioid treatment that includes the use of medication.
Janice Sunderhaus, the CEO of Health Partners of Western Ohio, said the health center will have an on-site pharmacy and even offer vaccines for children.
Remodeling work has been underway at the Bryan Community Health Center, at 228 S. Main St. The building had been formerly used by One Stop Jobs and Family Services. The health center will hold an open house on Jan. 21.
The program will employ about 35 people including the clinic’s director Dr. Calvin Morris, a dentist, dental assistants and hygienists, two nurse practitioners, LPNs, two pharmacists, including a clinical pharmacist, staff and others.
