NO ARRESTS DURING BRYAN SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT

The High­way Patrol announced on Fri­day that there would be a sobri­ety check­point in Williams County over the week­end. There was, and for­tu­nately none of the over 500 vehi­cles processed at that check­point in Bryan Sat­ur­day night turned up an intox­i­cated dri­ver. There were no arrests result­ing from the check­point that was set up on US 127 just south of the Ohio 15 split north of Bryan between the hours of 9pm and mid­night Sat­ur­day.

In addi­tion to the check­point, troop­ers worked sat­u­ra­tion patrols in the area, and thye report that there were no other arrests there as well. Also, The Ohio Inves­tiga­tive Unit did six site checks at estab­lish­ments with liquor per­mits and no vio­la­tions were found in any of them either.
