Just like most other counties and municipalities in the area, Paulding County road crews are just waiting for the weather to break so they can put away snow plows and get out the construction equipment.
Bridge projects will be a big priority this year.
They include the County Road 87 bridge over Flat Rock Creek, and the County Road 79 bridge over Blue Creek.
Another big project the county will begin this year is the widening of County Road 144. The adjacent ditch must be moved before widening can begin, and that project alone could take up to two years before actual road work begins.
Paulding County also is planning about 15 miles of paving work, with County Road 48 in Benton Township and County Road 205 in Brown Township on the top of the list.
