Soccer field improvements for Bryan City Schools.

Bryan schools will soon be moving more dirt to the former Washington Elementary School location as part of soccer field improvements. The move is all part of the overall capital project, which also featured renovations to the high school football field. Although the football upgrades are complete, there is still some work to be done for the soccer fields, officials say. In the next week to 10 days, someone will come in and cut down the weeds growing in the dirt and spray them with weed killer. From there, another company will come in to slit seed and hydroseed the area. He’s not sure how much dirt will be needed to finish off the project and if the dirt available at the school will be enough. If it’s not enough…they have some dirt available at the industrial park, officials add.
