The recent hot weather takes its toll on everyone. The elderly and the young, along with those in poor health generally are most at risk from the excessive heat.
With that in mind, Northwest State Community College has announced that it is open to the public as a “cooling center.“
The campus is open Mon-Thurs. 8am-8pm and Fri. 8am-4pm.
There is no charge and all are welcome to come in from the heat and get some air conditioned relief.
