NEW TRAFFIC LIGHT

Traffic was disrupted for a few hours in Bryan Thursday. The street department spent a good part of the afternoon replacing a stoplight at Townline Road and High Street. The old stoplight was damaged when it got hit last year. Workers poured a new base and then had to run new conduit and new wiring. The old existing pole then had to be relocated to the new site and the new light had to be connected. During the work, a four way stop was necessary at the intersection, which slowed traffic considerably.
