“America 250” history display at the Henry County Fair.

There’s something for everyone in this week’s unique “America 250” history display at the Henry County Fair.  The main display is housed in the log cabin at the south end of the fairgrounds and the Immanuel Lutheran Schoolhouse, which was originally from Hamler and constructed in 1897. Fairgoers were given a plethora of information about the county through the many displays in both buildings, which included military costumes, Joe E. Brown artifacts, and tales of county residents.
